Tamturbo Oy is strengthening its team with Hannu Heinonen joining the team as the VP Business Development, Americas starting May 1, 2017. The new hire brings broad expertise to the global market and supports the growth strategy of the company.
Heinonen (MBA, University of Florida, B.Sc. Eng.) will be responsible for developing the company business in the region of North and South America for both new and current partnerships. Tamturbo’s goal is to scale up its business operations to a global level by selling full compressor packages as private label products alongside Tamturbo-branded compressor packages. In addition to this, the company sells OEM core components and control software to other compressor manufacturers.
Tamturbo made its first OEM, private label and distribution agreements in 2016, leading to the sale and marketing of compressors in multiple countries.
As a long term compressor professional, Heinonen is looking forward to the future. Tamturbo offers customers a unique product concept, which he is excited to sell to global markets.
– I’ve been working in global compressor space for about 25 years and it feels great to see something new and as exciting as Tamturbo entering the market. The unique product concept and the company are quite unlike anything I’ve seen in the past. The opportunity to be part of the change in the industry something one does not want to pass. I will be very excited to join the team and help the company to enter international markets and to be one of the key players, Heinonen says.
Heinonen’s expertise is a great asset for Tamturbo team
Until recently Heinonen worked for ELGi Equipments Ltd as the VP, Americas. He was responsible for running green field operations leading the ELGi entry to markets in North and South America. Prior to this, he worked for years as an independent management consultant in the compressor industry. Previously Heinonen has worked in business development and strategic management roles for global compressor companies, such as FuSheng Industrial Ltd, Gardner Denver Oy and Tamrotor Oy.
Tamturbo’s CEO Timo Pulkki expects future cooperation with confidence.
